Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026. This policy explains how SeenIQ handles data for athletes, recruiters, coaches, trainers, organizations, and visitors using the website, mobile applications, and related services.

Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy applies to SeenIQ websites, mobile applications, and related services. In this policy, SeenIQ, we, us, and our refer to SeenIQ LLC.

Age eligibility and children

Athlete accounts are for users age 13 and older. Users under 13 are not permitted to create or use SeenIQ accounts, and SeenIQ is not launching an under-13 parental-consent program. Recruiter, coach, and trainer accounts require users to be at least 18 years old.

Registration requires an affirmative eligibility confirmation. SeenIQ does not claim to independently verify age beyond that confirmation. Users should not submit information about an under-13 child through an account intended to bypass these eligibility rules. To report a suspected under-13 account, contact support@seeniqapp.com.

Information users submit

Account data may include email address, password hash, role, name, verification state, notification preferences, security/session state, and age-eligibility confirmation supplied at registration.

Athlete data may include profile name or display name, school, graduation year, city, state, country, optional birth date, parent/guardian email where provided, sports, positions, events or distances, metrics, GPA, height, weight, bio, achievements, teams, affiliations, organization links, profile photos, media/highlight links, event participation, and public profile settings.

Recruiter data may include recruiter profile details, employer or organization, title, location, verification request information, saved athletes, pipeline stage, private notes, evaluations, comparison selections, contact requests, and messages.

Trainer and training provider data may include provider profile details, city, state, ZIP code, country, approximate or public coordinates where available, sports, specialties, contact/social links, logos, banners, membership or ownership records, claim requests, and public Training listing content.

Organization data may include public organization identity, teams, coaches, events, tryouts, training opportunities, images, contact information, memberships, invitations, and management history.

Operational, safety, and activity information

SeenIQ may generate or store operational information needed to run the service, including contact requests, conversations, messages, notifications, push tokens, message reports, global reports, user blocks, moderation status and notes, profile views, recruiter saves, account security events, upload records, and server logs used to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.

Public profile information

Some athlete, trainer, organization, team, event, tryout, and training opportunity information may be public or discoverable. Public athlete profiles may include name or display name, profile image, sport, position or event, graduation year, school, city/state, teams, affiliations, achievements, metrics, and public media links. Public trainer/provider listings may include provider name, logo, banner, provider type, sports, specialties, city/state, approximate or facility location, contact links, website, and public listing details. Not every field is always public, and visibility depends on user settings and the way SeenIQ authorizes each account role.

Restricted information

  • GPA is visible only to the athlete and authorized recruiter, coach, and administrative accounts.
  • Recruiter notes, evaluations, pipeline stages, and comparison choices are intended for the recruiter's workflow and authorized admin/support access where needed.
  • Exact athlete street addresses are not intended as public profile data.
  • Private trainer home or street information is not intended for public trainer listings; trainer discovery may use city/state/ZIP-based approximate location.
  • Messages are visible to conversation participants and authorized personnel where reasonably needed for safety, support, moderation, security, or legal obligations.

How SeenIQ uses information

SeenIQ uses information to create and operate accounts, publish recruiting and training profiles, support athlete discovery, power recruiter workflows, process contact requests and messaging, support Training discovery, operate organization/team features, send email and push notifications, secure accounts, moderate reports and safety issues, provide support, measure product activity, improve the service, and help prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful use.

Service providers and disclosure

SeenIQ uses service providers to host, store, secure, deliver, and operate the service. These include Neon/PostgreSQL for database storage, Render for API hosting, web hosting and content-delivery providers for the web app, cloud object-storage providers such as Cloudflare R2 for uploaded images, email delivery providers such as Resend, Expo and Apple/Google push-notification infrastructure for mobile push notifications.

Users may add links to external websites or services, including YouTube, Hudl, trainer or provider websites, registration pages, and social profiles. These third-party services are not SeenIQ service providers merely because a user links to them, and they have their own privacy practices and terms.

SeenIQ may disclose information at a user's direction, to service providers, to protect users or the platform, to investigate safety or security issues, to respond to lawful requests, or as part of a business reorganization where appropriate. SeenIQ does not currently use advertising SDKs, behavioral advertising, data brokers, social login, payment processors, or third-party analytics SDKs. SeenIQ does not sell personal information for behavioral advertising.

Location information

SeenIQ may use athlete city/state and profile location fields for discovery and profile context. Private trainer listings may use city/state/ZIP information and approximate ZIP-centroid coordinates for discovery. Facility listings may use street address, city, state, ZIP, and coordinates when public listing settings permit it. SeenIQ does not currently request mobile precise GPS permission for Training discovery.

Photos, media, and external links

SeenIQ supports athlete avatars, coach profile photo links where provided, trainer logos and banners, organization images, and public media or highlight links. Users should only upload or link content they have the right to share. External services such as YouTube, Hudl, websites, and social platforms have their own privacy practices and terms.

Communications and safety tools

SeenIQ supports recruiter contact requests, athlete acceptance or gating, messages, reports, blocks, in-app notifications, email notifications, and push notifications. Reports and blocks may be used by SeenIQ to investigate safety concerns, restrict abusive behavior, and support platform trust. Reporter identity is not intended to be exposed to the reported user through normal product flows.

Profile views and activity

SeenIQ tracks profile views and related activity to provide account, recruiter, and athlete insights. Athlete-facing analytics may show view counts or aggregate context rather than exposing every viewer identity. Recruiter saves, pipeline actions, and evaluations support recruiter workflows and are not public profile content.

Data retention and account deletion

Active account data is retained while needed to operate SeenIQ. Account deletion removes or anonymizes personal account/profile data as described in this policy and the account-deletion process, disables login, and prevents ordinary account recovery or admin reactivation of the deleted account.

Some records may be retained where needed for safety, abuse prevention, security, legal obligations, dispute handling, or multi-party message integrity. Retained records are not used to restore the deleted account through ordinary account recovery. Retention periods vary depending on the type of record and the reason it is retained.

Users can delete from in-app Settings or use the verified public deletion flow at /account-deletion. The public flow requires email verification and typed DELETE confirmation. Sole owners of organizations or training providers may be blocked until ownership is resolved.

Security

SeenIQ uses safeguards designed to protect account and profile data, including HTTPS in production, authenticated API access, password hashing, mobile token storage through Expo SecureStore, role and ownership checks, token invalidation for sensitive account actions, upload validation, and moderation/admin access controls. No online service can guarantee complete security.

User choices and rights

Users can edit profile information, adjust visibility and notification settings where available, report or block users/content, delete their account, and contact SeenIQ for support. Users may have additional rights under applicable law; contact support@seeniqapp.com to make a privacy or account request.

Policy changes and contact

SeenIQ may update this policy as the product, law, or store requirements change. Updated policies will be posted on this page with an updated date. Questions can be sent to support@seeniqapp.com or team@seeniqapp.com.
